St Philomena

She spent 40 days suffering in her final 13 years of life in defense of her purity and faith. Some of the sufferings inflicted upon her include a physical scourging, an attempted drowning and an array of arrows launched upon her. Finally, she was decapitated. But she never wavered from faith. She is the patroness of the children of Mary and of the Living Rosary. Our Lady has said "To Philomena, nothing is refused"
